Rising Sun Chamber of Commerce – Donation Policy

The Rising Sun Chamber is committed to supporting community initiatives that align with our mission to promote local business and enhance the quality of life in our area.

Eligibility & Consideration

We welcome donation requests from local organizations, with special consideration given to registered nonprofit entities whose work benefits the greater Rising Sun community.

Request Guidelines

  • All donation requests must be submitted in writing and include a description of the organization, the purpose of the request, and the specific amount being requested.
  • Requests must be submitted at least 30 days in advance of the funding needed.

Review Process

  • Donation requests of $350 or less may be reviewed and approved by the President and the Treasurer.
  • Requests exceeding $350 must be presented to the Board of Directors for review and approval at the next scheduled board meeting.

Limitations

The Chamber reserves the right to decline any donation request and may limit the number or amount of donations made annually, based on available resources and alignment with Chamber priorities.
