The 33rd annual Youth Fishing Derby is set for Saturday, May 4, 2024 at the Rising Sun Community Pond on West Main Street from 8-11am. Admission is free and the derby is held rain or shine. Participants must supply their own bait and tackle. Prizes will be awarded in a number of categories such as smallest fish caught and most fish caught. Every participant receives a prize. There will be snacks and juice boxes available for the kids.

Registration for kids ages 12 and under begins at 7:30am the morning of the event, but early online registration is encouraged.
